Why eat beets:
Beets are one of nature’s power foods. They are high in many vitamins and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, fiber, phosphorus, iron, Vitamins A, B and C and folic acid. Phew! Talk about a superfood. If that isn’t enough, beets get their red color from phytonutrients which have been shown to help prevent and fight cancer. Beets are also well known for their ability to help detoxify the body.
